It's time for me to eat my words. Back in March I referred to the Trump Hollywood project in Hollywood, Florida as the "only Trump project thriving in South Florida." I was wrong on two counts: the first being that it was yet another Trump-licensed project rather than a direct Donald Trump build and the second, on the building's overall health. Campaigners took to the dunes in Balmedie for a protest walk against tycoon Donald Trump’s golf course.

Around 250 walkers from the Tripping Up Trump group snaked across the sands from the Visitor Centre to the Bunker site on Saturday.

The group wants to stop Aberdeenshire Council from serving compulsory purchase orders (CPOs) on four homes.

The four sites have been included in a masterplan for the resort, but any decision to use CPOs would need to be backed by Aberdeenshire councillors.
